It's been nearly a month since my last post but I've been busy with painting in amongst the daily routines.
The laptops fan has virtually died and it means only a little time can be spent on it before it gets hot and starts to make an awful noise - so It'll be the tablet now with it's not so hot camera.
I have these Northstar Sigilist and Apprentice painted up for a couple of weeks now but didn't get around to taking their pics. Lovely models to paint and I was quiet happy with the result.
I'm painting up some skeletons that came with the Lich Lord kickstarter and these are looking good.
I'm looking for advice for the colours to use on the next batch of figures - Zombies and their skin colour any suggestions would be appreciated.
Hope you like the pictures and thanks for stopping by.
Nice painting Dannoc :)
ReplyDeleteFor the zombies, I'd suggest using your normal flesh colours, but add a touch of light grey into each step, or maybe a pale grey-green or pale grey-blue. that should give the sort of pallor you're after for them.
Thanks Tamsim. I'll be experimenting !
DeleteVery nice work again, Dan. I love the greens.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dean - I was happy with how they turned out.
DeleteNice looking wizards

DeleteGreat job Dan and every time I see those 4Ground ruins I get a little more tempted! Now zombie skin, so many ways to go and looking back over mine, I see I ended up going very blue at one stage. What I have come across recently is a Reaper triad bought throughMiniature Heroes (great service too) http://miniature-heroes.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=652_492_494&products_id=23106
ReplyDeleteIt just needs a little green or purple was and lashings of gore.
Thanks Sir and those triad sets from reaper look good.
