On the Paint Bench

I've been painting a Neo-Assyrian army, on and off, for the past couple of years. I'm near to completion and only have 10 4-horse chariots to complete and then the basing of the whole army.
I'm planning to paint 4 of these (to go along with the sub-commander (below)) as soon as I've painted the last of the NAC.

Looks like I need to clean the camera lens too !
Thanks for taking the time to look and for any comments you may leave.

NAC RAM Mortar teams

Here we go - the first of a few packs of NAC heavy weapons packs.
I ran out of the arid tuffs I used on the other bases so have use a jungle veriety and dry-brushed the ends with a pale sand, I might well change them back to arid tuffs when I can get some.

Thanks for taking the time to look.

NAC Command/Comms figures

The heavy weapons set didn't get finished first - these Command/Comms figures are up instead.
Hope to have some heavy weapons completed during the week, if given the time.

GZG NAC Rifles pack B

Here's a couple of pics of the latest NAC that I finished last night. There were two packs of 8 figures (2 each of 4 poses).

Next up some heavy support weapons.

2013 Painting Totals

I've really only been blogging since march last year but have found that through the contacts I have made I have been motivated by the quality of the miniatures to paint my way through my lead mountain (OK it's only a small dent in it).
To all that have commented on my own efforts I thank you - again a real motivator.

Anyway here's my small contribution to the 2013 painting totals.

28mm
Warlord Games: 47 x Chindits
Ironclad Miniatures: 16 x Sanwar figures and 1 x Lizard & Rider. 11 x Royal Navy Landing Party and 1 x Steam Tank.

15mm
GZG: 42 x NAC figures & 3 x vehicles
Essex Miniatures: 1 x Viking Boat & 1 x crew. 1 x Carroccio Waggon & 8 figures.

Misc
Jungle scenery and some start and stop painting on a battle group of 15mm Neo-Assyrian chariots (got to get these finished)

As for this year I'm putting together a plan and I'm hoping to make a good jump in the painted quantities but there are a few projects on the horizon that could scupper it early on.

Happy new year to you all
